Congleton Radio have received The High Sheriff of Cheshire Award in recognition of great and valuable services to the community. The award also recognises the appreciation of the residents and people of the said High Sheriff's County for activity and contribution in enhancing the life of the community.

Congleton Radio are so pleased to receive this award, it means so much to us. We had a dream about a radio station which did something different. It wouldn't just be a playlist of music, but would feature all speech with full documentaries and series.

Since Congleton Radio's birth we have produced and broadcast documentaries such as Save Danes Moss, Congleton World Of Wrestling and Clonter Opera. Joining those titles have been many more including our In Their Own Words series featuring White Ribbon, The New Life Church, The Old Saw Mill and The Rossendale Trust.

Shows like Congleton Life Stories, People Make A Difference and Congleton Unedited have highlighted amazing individuals in our community. We also have our mental health programming such as Board Games For Mental Health and Our Time which sit beside shows such as Elizabeth's Corner, Our Birds, Eco Against Poverty, Congleton News And Views and Our History Our Heritage, Cong Bear Pantomimes, Politics Congleton In Depth and special news programs

All this is the tip of the iceberg though as we are working on so much more and will continue to do so with the help of our wonderful sponsors which feature on the station, our website and across all our social media platforms.
