White Ribbon Ambassadors at Astbury Mere Country Park

White Ribbon Ambassadors and Congleton Radio Presenters Stuart Neild and Mark Edwardson were joined by other White Ribbon Ambassadors at Astbury Mere in Congleton today; where they were educating the general public about what White Ribbon is and what it means.

The event was organised by White Ribbon Champions, Sharon Neild from Congleton Radio and Deputy Mayor, Kay Wesley.

There was a lot of good feedback and interest on the day. White Ribbon Promises were made, plus there were some members of the public who had not heard of the White Ribbon, so it was good to get the message out there to these people in hopes that they too will then go on to spread to good word of what the White Ribbon means and does.
