WEP Councillor Kay Wesley organised a Cross Party Protest about the current state of the NHS that took place today at Meadowside in Congleton.
Councillors from nearly all parties attended the protest and voiced their concerns about the current state of the NHS.
If you listen tomorrow on Congleton Radio at 6:30am, 12:30pm, 6:30pm and 10:30pm you can hear all the interviews such has Councillor Kay Wesley discussing why she organised the protest, Councillor Rob Moreton whose life was recently saved by the NHS.
ICU nurse and Green Party Candidate Lisa Miller gives her insight working for the NHS; alongside Labour Party Councillor Michael Unett who is one of the favourites to run for Labour in the next coming General Election. Independent Councillor Suzie Akers Smith also voiced her concerns as well as Labour Party candidate Heather Seddon and Congleton WEP candidate Susan Mead amongst many other WEP members.

Other Green Party members were also there to support the event along with Lib Dem councillors and long time environmentalist Olga Whitmore.
